Bailiffs are due to begin clearing three sections of the main Admiralty protest site on Thursday morning under a High Court injunction.
Court notices have since been posted in the area, which is in the heart of Hong Kong's business district, and close to the government headquarters.
Authorities are asking protesters to leave voluntarily before the deadline hits.
A number of protesters have already left the area, shifting their camps to nearby streets.
But Hong Kong Police say they will seek to clear all occupied areas in Admiralty on Thursday.
