A UN official has announced that Western Sierra Leone and the interior of Guinea continue to be troublesome areas in the fight against Ebola.
David Nabarro, the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy on Ebola, made the comments during a news conference in Geneva.
"There are two particularly troublesome areas, one is western Sierra Leone, which is Freetown and Port Loko particularly. The second area which is a cause of trouble is the northern part of the interior of Guinea, 'Guinee forestiere', and we have been working very closely with Mali to try to make sure that if cases per chance cross the border, that they can be dealt with very quickly."<
