Two separate attacks have targeted diplomatic personnel in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
In one of the attacks, a pair of men launched an attack on a foreign guest house in the diplomatic quarter.
Both were shot dead while trying to attack the home.
Afghan deputy Interior Minister Mohammad Salangi.
"A guest house used by foreigners was attacked. There were two attackers who were trying to enter the guest house, our security force shot them and they are now dead. I personally have seen the guest house everything is under control, the fighting is over and only one Nepalese foreign guard was wounded."
This follows an attack earlier in the day on a British embassy vehicle which left 5-people dead.
33 others were wounded in the bombing.

"It reminds us once again of the risks that our personnel take every day in trying to help the Afghans to build a better future for their country and by helping them to do so to protect our own security and our own interests."
The Taliban is claiming responsibility for both attacks.
This comes just weeks ahead of NATO forces officially withdrawing from Afghanistan after 13-years.
Thousands of US and NATO troops are going to remain behind in a supporting role.
