eBay is taking steps to try to establish itself in the Chinese market.

The company has teamed up with Shanghai-based logistics service provider Winit to help Chinese vendors sell to overseas buyers.

Chinese vendors using the eBay platform will be able to reach Winit's overseas warehouse in one-stop under the new agreement.

Winit will provide eBay with a one-stop cross-border supply chain to allow quicker delivery.

The deal is expected help reduce logistics cost for Chinese exporters and save them hassles with customs.

For more on eBay venturing into the Chinese market, we are now joined live by Benjamin Cavender, Principal at China Market Research in Shanghai.
