A Chinese patrol ship has returned to its base in Shanghai after completing its latest search mission for missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370.
The ship spent 216 days in the southern Indian Ocean, covering over 240-thousand square kilometers.
Zhou Li with the Maritime Search and Rescue Center says Chinese authorities aren't giving up on the search for the missing plane.
"Now the search for MH370 has entered a deep-water search stage conducted by private companies. The Chinese authorities will have video meeting with the Perth-based Joint Agency Coordination Center on a weekly basis, and continue to dispatch personnel to Australia to assist the following search
