China Commemorate 69th Anniversary of WWII Victory
Tomorrow marks the 69th anniversary of China's victory in its War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
It's also the first time China has officially marked September 3rd as Victory Day, in a move to underscore the importance of China's role in the fight against Japan and the allied victory in the Second World War.
In commemoration of that victory, a series of memorial activities will be held across the country.
For more on this, CRI's Zheng chenguang spoke with Professor Yu Tiejun, Assistant President of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies of Peking University.
