Chinese President Xi Jinping has held talks with Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain in Beijing, with the two talking about the creation of a quote "community of shared destiny."

Report: As part of Wednesday's talks, the two presidents have agreed to enhance the current strategic and cooperative partnership agreements between the two countries.
They've also pledged tighter ties in economics, security and inter-personal exchanges.
President Xi Jinping says China will continue to treat China-Pakistan ties from a strategic and long-term perspective.
"The all-weather, time-tested relationship between China and Pakistan has been fostered by successive leaders from the two sides. It has maintained healthy and stable development. I believe the visit will create a good start for both sides."
For his part, Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain says a further cementing of ties with China serves as "the cornerstone of Pakistan's foreign policy".
"We are very happy to be visiting the country of time-best friend. Coming to China is like coming to my second home. Friendship with China is the most important blood of our foreign policy and security policy. I consider the visit to China as visit to brotherly country and I endorsed the view that China and Pakistan are iron brothers."
Following the talks, the two presidents have issued a joint statement, talking about deepening China and Pakistan's strategic and economic cooperation.
As part of the joint statement, Pakistan has recognized the East Turkistan Islamic Movement as a terrorist organization, saying the group poses a common threat to the peace and stability of both China and Pakistan.
The East Turkistan Islamic Movement has been responsible for a string of terrorist attacks in Xinjiang throughout the years.

"The results of the talks focus primarily in practical cooperation. Firstly, infrastructure construction is one of the major issues. There is an economic corridor connecting two sides. The two sides will also upgrade the Karakorum Highway. Secondly, Pakistan is attaching importance to energy cooperation, which is a major obstacle to Pakistan's development. Thirdly, economic cooperation connected to the Pakistani port of Gwadar is being pushed forward."
The two sides have also agreed to step up cooperation in areas such as agriculture, health, education and public transportation.
This is Mamnoon Hussain's first official foreign trip since taking office in September.
Premier Li Keqiang is due to meet with the visiting president later on this Thursday.
