The announcement comes at a time when the President is under mounting criticism for failing to honor his commitment that the Obamacare law will allow Americans keep their healthcare insurance policies if they like them.
And the fix President Obama is offering now is an extension of another year.
"The bottom line is insurers can extend current plans that would otherwise be canceled into 2014. And Americans whose plans that had been canceled can choose to re-enroll."
Many health insurance providers say they're going to have to cancel people's current insurance plans, as they don't meet the requirements of Affordable Care Act.
