广播听力: Chinese Rescue Team Returns

China's search and rescue team have returned home after spending more than a week helping rescue efforts in Japan following the devastating earthquake and tsunami.

Team leader Yin Guanghui says all members of the team are in good health but are tired.

"We slept very little while we were working in Ofunato city. It was exhausting but it's normal for us, as saving lives is like being in a battlefield. We thank you for your concern for our health. We carried radiation monitoring equipment and our camp was within the safety zone. But of course we have to run some tests."

The 15-member Chinese team arrived in the port city of Ofunato on March 13, becoming the first foreign rescuers to reach the city after the disastrous quake.

The Chinese government has donated 30 million yuan or $4.5 million worth of relief supplies to Japan.

Nearly 130 countries and 33 international organisations have offered assistance to Japan.

Meanwhile, China's tourism authority said all of the 5,416 Chinese tourists visiting Japan had returned safely to China.

The last group of 27 Chinese tourists left the quake-struck country earlier today.
