广播听力：Samsung's Investment Plan in China will not Shrink

South Korea's leading electronics maker Samsung Group says its investment plan in China will not shrink this year, despite the global financial crisis.

"Generally speaking, our investment growth will slow down in 2009, but our pace to innovate new technologies and products will continue. For investment in equipment and construction of factories, our plan has become more flexible and has changed to suit the markets. All in all, our investment scale in China will not shrink."

Lee added that Samsung China will not cut jobs during the global credit crisis.

Samsung opened its factory in China in 1994. After 15 years' development, it has four branch companies and more than 16,000 employees in the country.
