"This is the sixth time that I've stepped on the African soil. Every time I come to Africa, I feel like going home. Every time I communicate with my African friends, hearing your views on China, on Sino-African relations and on the world, I always get new experiences and inspirations."

The Chinese president also noted that developing countries have been put in a situation of disadvantage by the current global financial crisis.

He stressed that China and Africa should work together and support each other to withstand the crisis.

"China and Africa need to strengthen mutual support, enhance cooperation and conquer hardships, especially in time of difficulty. On behalf of the Chinese government, it is my solemn commitment that China will earnestly bring to implementation all the deals reached during the China-Africa Cooperation Forum in Beijing. "

President Hu Jintao also said further co-operation between the two sides would focus on six aspects, namely: joint efforts in dealing with the challenges brought by the global financial crisis, increasing bilateral exchanges to consolidate traditional ties, upgrading the level of economic and trade co-operation to achieve a win-win result, deepening cultural exchanges, strengthening coordination in international affairs and promoting the operation of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.(www.hXen.com)
