广播听力：Iranian Foreign Minister Condemned US attacks in Syria and Pakistan

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki has strongly condemned a deadly US raid in Syrian territory and the US missile attacks in Pakistan.

Mottaki made the remarks during a joint news conference in Tehran on Tuesday with visiting former Lebanese President Emile Lahoud.

"We strongly condemn the killing of Muslim Pakistani people by American warplanes as well as their latest invasion and slaughter of many innocent and dear Syrian civilians. We believe there is no escape for America from a rational judgment by the world and region's public opinion toward its actions."(WWw.hxen.com)

The US military conducted a raid inside Syria on Sunday to target what it believed to be a network of al-Qaida-linked foreign fighters moving through Syria into Iraq.

Also at the news confernce, Mottaki took time to condemn recent US missile attacks in Pakistan.

American commanders have been complaining that Pakistani forces have not put enough pressure on militant strongholds, and have reportedly ordered more than a dozen strikes on Pakistani territory in the past weeks, many of which have caused civilian casualties.
