The Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad has blamed Israel for not taking concrete steps towards peace talks.
Speaking on a diplomatic visit to London, Fayyad said Israel has not completed any of the obligations set out at the United States-backed peace conference last November.
"Israel has failed to meet any of its obligations under the road map, which is extremely troubling. Particularly as those obligations include a freeze on settlement activity. That has not happened and we find that to be most troubling."
The Prime Minsiter also criticized Israeli security raids in the West Bank, saying such actions can only destroy regional stability. (Www.hxen.com)
His remarks came after the so-called Middle East peace 'Quartet', the United Nations, the US, Russia and the European Union, urged Israel to cease all settlement activity in the West Bank.
The diplomats also called for more negotiations in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
