China's Ministry of Communications said the motorway from Beijing to Zhuhai, a major transport line connecting northern and southern China, was fully reopened on Monday.

By Monday morning, the last six thousand vehicles trapped by snow and ice had been back on their track after days of efforts to clean up the ice.
It is a symbolic move for restoring the country's transport, which was hit by recent heavy snowstorm.
At the same time, the Ministry of Communications said some parts of the Beijing-Zhuhai motorway are temporarily closed because of thick fog. Drivers and motorists were also not encouraged to enter the busiest sections, as the recovering traffic would still move slowly.
The Beijing-Zhuhai motorway has been closed and opened repeatedly over the past week due to unusual freezing weather in central and southern China, where many drivers and passengers were stranded.
Most of them are migrant workers, who are returning home to unite their families during the Spring Festival holidays that will kick off on Wednesday.
Also on Monday, China's Meteorological Administration, or the CMA said most parts of the country will get clear weather for the holidays.
Its forecast said most of the country's southern parts would have a good weather, which is an advantage for the recovering of the areas hit by snowstorms, while the northern parts would see no evident snow.
