Christopher Wray is winning bipartisan praise for an independent streak he's promising to bring to the FBI:

Wray also telling the Senate Judiciary Committee he has no reason to doubt intelligence agency assessents Russia was behind election-related hacking and does not think an investigation a witch hunt:
