ST. LOUIS — A southern Illinois woman is set to give birth to her own grandchildren because her daughter is unable to get pregnant.

Micaela Johnson was diagnosed with a rare form of cervical cancer in 2015. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports she and her husband froze their embryos before Johnson underwent a treatment process that left her infertile.
