A Californian eighth grader's helping his incredible accomplishment inspired young people around the world. 13-year-old Jordan Romero became the youngest person ever to climb the top of Mount Everest. He reached the summit along with his parents Saturday. And he spoke with us this morning from base camp in Nepal.
"It's a feeling like no other being on the top of the world. And it was just so amazing. Yeah, there is something I've dreamed about since I was just 9 years old throughout my whole childhood. It's.., man, you just can't believe it."
Romero started scaling the tallest mountain in each continent when he was just ten. It's now 6 down, and just 1 more to go.
