Tropical storm Michael tore across Georgia and headed towards the Carolinas on Thursday morning. The storm was a powerful category 4 hurricane when it smashed into the Florida panhandle on Wednesday.
Michael is blamed for at least one death in Florida and another in Georgia. Search and rescue crews are expected to look for people trapped in storm debris in hard-hit areas.
