1 词义
maintain是通过物理变化或者化学变化让其保持不变（其实是表面不变，里面可能变得一塌糊涂），如：用战争保持和平
而remain是指事物本身就维持不变，如：我保留着泡恒星的习惯。
2 词性
remain 是不及物动词，后面一般不加东东。
maintain是及物动词，后面要加东东的。
