The following is my conclusion from the Press Conference on independent innovation in Beijing 2008 Olympic Games architecture engineering which was held on 27th，July.
There were three spokesmen from the development and reform bureau，the national construction bureau and the national Olympic construction committee. There was a hot discussion at the Press box. Journalists from China Youth Daily， the Russian alpha and other media &newspaper agencies raised questions about the architecture engineering：how to view about the foreign designing strategies being adopted in the bidding procession and whether the proportion is big or not；how to reuse these remaining gymnastics facilities from Olympic Games；is there any suggestive functions from the innovation for the following city construction and planning？
Answers for these questions：1. as the theme of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games“one world，one dream”goes，the bidding procession of architecture engineering also expressed the “non-boundary”concept to some extent：as long as the designing was innovative enough，as long as it lived up to the bidding standards which stressed environmental ， technical and civil elements. In fact，part of these designing programmes originated from foreign big designers or designing companies，the designing team of the bidding-hit company might be mixed with innovative designers both at home and abroad。
When it came to the question of reuse of facilities after the games，we can learn from some former Olympic Games host cities，for example，Sydney，Athens，one of the competition facilities that has made grand contributions to the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens has been changed into an universal supermarket，and for its history meanings，there are both commercial and cultural atmosphere with it. There are obvious experiences for us to learn from and we shall act according to our own conditions.
It is no doubt that many frontier technologies have been adopted during the constructions，these technologies may range from sun-energy collection and storage，digital screen display for competition scores to electronic information collection and auto-control. New subways have been added and the whole subway system has been re-arranged and improved. In fact，the Beijing transportation system is wide-opening its arm to welcome the Olympic Games audiences from each part of China and outside. Besides，the sun-energy adoption solution is well suggestive enough especially when there is an emergent demand for traditional resource saving all over the world.
How time flies！We together have been preparing for 8th August ，2008 ever since the very moment of our triumph for host city in 13thJuly，2001. The opening ceremony is just around the corner and we have gathered up all our enthusiasm to say：we are ready！
