A small fish in a big pond or a big fish in a small pond？

I think it is a good topic to talk about. And I'd like all of you can share your opinion with me. And the following is my some of thoughts.
       For my part, I'd like to choose to be a small fish in a big pond at my first phase and be a big fish in a small pond.   Why?  In my opinion, when we graduate from the college, we have no experience and we need to open our eyes to look the world outside.  That's the environment some big companies can provide you. On the other side, you can also have the opportunity to touch some famous people to know more about their process of how to run a company. And the most important thing is we can cumulate enough money for the future.
        The second phase----when you have the experience and the money----I'll choose something I like to do,even the payment is low. Because in big company, you may not have the chance to show your own ability.  I think it is a big waste to both the individual and the society. When  entering a small company, you can get access to every department and master many kinds of skills and knowledge. Also the competition in small company is less fierce and it is no necessity for you to make fake disgusting laugh to the boss who lead you.
        All above is my own ideas, I'll also be very glad if you can leave some words bellow to say what you think about it.
